In this book, 0008 and the sexy Soviet MEPHISTO agent Olga Koffkoff join forces, along with the down-on-his-luck former millionaire-playboy crimefighter Gnatman and his female sidekick Robina, to stop the terrorist organization SNIDE (the Supreme Nihilistic Institute for the Destruction of Everything) from blowing up the world.
Just finished re-reading the next book in the 0008 series: "0008 Meets Gnatman," a spoof of the famous super-hero (I suspect Allison was influenced more by the Adam West TV version than the original comics-in any event, the book was definitely aimed to exploit the TV show's popularity).
